Current efforts in Haiti are focused on providing critical response, medical care and shelter to those impacted by the earthquake. And yet we must begin to think now about the long-term effects and needs of the Haitian people, economy and natural and cultural resources. The exodus of tens of thousands of people from Port-au-Prince to areas throughout the country means that we must help the most vulnerable people in Haiti and invest in education, small businesses and local jobs.
Celebrate the culture of Haiti and support three organizations working to support education, small business development and critical services for disabled youth in the wake of the January earthquake. 100% of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Haitian Education Leadership Program, PAZAPA and Fonkoze.
